I was sitting in my office, drinking coffee, and trying to catch up on my overwhelmingly full inbox. My strategy on these days is to handle all the items that can be done quickly, to decrease the total number of emails…then I work on the tasks that will be more time consuming. On this day, I was skimming all the emails to find the ones I could respond to right away when I saw one I didn’t recognize the sender. I read it briefly and squealed!
It was such a surprise and honor to be selected a Top Wedding Vendor of 2023 by Virginia Living Magazine. As a small, woman-owned business, I still celebrate every new inquiry and booking, I personally know the ins and outs of every detail of each account. I still get choked up when my couple share personal vows, or have a touching first dance, or when a parent gives an emotional toast. That my little company is big enough to win awards and recognitions…what a great start to 2023!
